THE OCEAN STATE SENIOR OLYMPICS ANNOUNCES CVS CAREMARK SPONSORSHIP
The Ocean State Senior Olympics is pleased to announce that CVS Caremark has signed on as a Gold Medal Sponsor of the 2013 Senior Games. In their letter of support, Faith Weiner, Senior Director of Community Relations wrote: “We are proud to support organizations like yours, who are making a difference in the communities they serve.”
The Ocean State Senior Olympics celebrates their 36th anniversary in 2013 with a schedule that includes 15 sporting competitions for men and women over the age of fifty. The games are targeted at encouraging older adults to develop and maintain good physical fitness through regular participation in exercise, recreational activity and sporting competitions.
CVS Caremark is the largest drug store chain in the United States with headquarters in Woonsocket, Rhode Island. They are the largest company that has operations solely in the United States and are currently ranked the 25th most reputable company in America. CVS Caremark is well known for numerous contributions to Rhode Island's many charitable organizations. The CVS Downtown 5K and the CVS Caremark Charity Golf Classic are two huge events that continue to raise millions of dollars annually for over 60 non-profit charities and organizations.
